Around the Adoramasphere

Posted in Adorama Rentals by Nathan Lee Bush on December 17, 2010

This is our new weekly roundup of the internet goings-on of the Adorama family.

Over at the Adorama News Desk, Mason Resnick highlighted the major photo news of the week, including new Fuji X100 deets, an award for Ricoh’s GXR, Sony & Nikon photo competitions, the closing of a major magazine and more.

On Adorama TV, Mark Wallace wondered whether the Ansel Adams iPad App was worth the $30 price tag. He also showed the essential factors to consider when shooting with an on-camera flash, and shows what connectivity can do for your camera with the Eye-Fi memory cards, and finally he interviews Matthew Dutile on how to create a great working atmosphere on set.

On the Gear Guides and Reviews blog, Mason profiled the über-portable, practically indestructible PhotoBert CheatSheets and pondered whether the tradeoffs of this budget negative scanner were worth it.

On Tech Tock, Mason profiled the new book which spills the beans in never-before-seen detail about the Kodak film production process, and explains how to use your skills for those less fortunate through photographic charity work.
