Samsung NX11In a week usually bereft of product news, Samsung has jumped the gun on CES by announcing the successor to the NX10, one of its enthusiast large-sensor mirrorless compacts.

In this update, the NX11 has i-Function – it’s clever multi-purpose function button/clickwheel accessible via the lens – built in. Additionally, it’s got a redesigned grip, 3-inch AMOLED LCD screen, VGA viewfinder, 720p 30fps HD video mode, and an APS-C sensor.

The NX11 with an 18-55mm i-Function lens is slated for a February launch and a price tag around $650. Look for it at Adorama.

Are you considering a large-sensor compact? Does this make your shortlist?
