Around the Adoramasphere: New Years Edition

Posted in News, Photography by Nathan Lee Bush on December 31, 2010

This is our weekly roundup of the internet goings-on of the Adorama family.

On the Techniques and How-Tos blog, Mark Wallace shows off the Contour HD, a wearable full HD camcorder; he also profiles Analytics Pro, a cool app that gives you access to Google Analytics on your iPad; he has a look at the basic button layouts of Canon and Nikon DSLRs for beginners; he takes you behind the scenes to show the nuts and bolts of how they make the How’d They Do That segments for AdoramaTV; and Mason Resnick shows how to create an orbital effect in Photoshop;

Over at Tech Tock, Mason looks back on the monumental changes of the past decade for photographers. What will the next decade bring?

On the Gear Guides and Reviews Blog, Mason profiles the SpiderPro Camera Holster system, a fashion faux-pas clever belt holster designed which allows you to carry your camera like a gunslinger; and has eight great capital investment ideas for the coming year.

At the Adorama News Desk, Mason takes you into the weekend with a roundup of the week’s major photo events.

And finally, on ARC’s own blog, Through The Looking Glass, we covered the newly announced entry in the mirrorless Battle Royale, the NX-11; and we highlighted the incredible neo-Victorian fashion and fine art photography of ARC customer Aneta Bartos.
