Around the Adoramasphere

Posted in News by Nathan Lee Bush on April 24, 2011

Around the Adoramasphere is our weekly roundup of the internet goings-on of the Adorama family.

This week Adorama was closed in observance of Passover. But we held down the fort on our blog. I eulogized Tim Hetherington, a once-in-a-generation photojournalist and filmmaker, whose vision for the medium was matched by his tremendous courage in capturing the horrors of war, and who I had the honor of interviewing before his shocking death in Libya from a mortar attack this week; Atif Hashmi contributed the third installment on essential sound recording equipment at ARC. And we covered the week’s photo events in New York City.

On the Gear Guides and Reviews Blog, Jason Schneider reviews the new Tamron 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD.
