New York Fashion Week is underway in the beautiful temporary hall set up at Lincoln Center (I, for one, don’t miss the tents), and Adorama’s in on it!

Getty Images, a premier imagery source for entertainment event coverage, and Adorama Pro, a premiere source of photo gear to photographers and videographers at the event, have partnered to produce a custom photo gallery in the main hall. Co-curated by Getty Images managing editor Parky Lee, the massive prints had to perform double-duty, facing both the interior hall and the exterior courtyard.

Adorama Pro’s Anne Cahill exhaustively researched many printing methods to create the 9 foot tall, modern day stained glass spectacles. The panels glow from without during the day, and from the interior at night, while still clearly displaying the photos from the unlit side.

The exhibition contains work by Getty Images staff photographers Larry Busacca, Frazer Harrison, Dimitrios Kambouris and Mike Coppola, with additional photos by Getty Images contributers Peter Michael Dills and Amy Sussman. The images are drawn from past shows by fashion luminaries Diane von Furstenberg, Lacoste, Narciso Rodriguez, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Jenny Packham, Vera Wang, Tracy Reese, Nanette Lepore and Joy Cioci.
